RANCHO PALOS VERDES, Calif. - Terranea Resort, recently recognized as a Top 15 Resort in Southern California by Condé Nast Traveler's 2024 Readers' Choice Awards, invites guests to celebrate Easter with a variety of oceanfront dining experiences. A Grand Easter Celebration: Brunch in the Palos Verdes Ballroom

The annual Easter Brunch at Terranea Resort, held in the elegant Palos Verdes Grand Ballroom, is a cherished tradition for families and friends and a memorable experience for first-time guests. The resort's culinary team presents a lavish selection of traditional favorites and seasonal specialties. The brunch begins with a market fruit display and a salad bar featuring Heirloom Tomato Caprese, Snap Pea and Carrot salad and Mushroom and Asparagus salad. A chilled seafood selection offers jumbo shrimp, snow crab, live oyster shucking, octopus salad and smoked salmon alongside a sushi display and a charcuterie and cheese grazing table. Guests can enjoy made-to-order omelets and a kid-friendly buffet with pasta, chicken tenders, cinnamon raisin French toast and red velvet pancakes. Stations include Asian-inspired dishes such as Crispy Tofu Tao Si, Char Siu-Style Pork, Wok-Fried Rice and Dim Sum as well as a pasta and risotto action station. The carving station features Grass-Fed Leg of Lamb, Dijon-Glazed Ham and Prime Rib, complemented by seasonal sides like Lemon-Roasted Potatoes, Grilled Asparagus and Harissa-Roasted Baby Carrots. The grand dessert display is set in a whimsical garden scene with colorful bunnies and a pastel Easter egg chocolate showpiece. Sweet treats include hot cross buns, chocolate crepes, strawberry matcha roulade, lemon raspberry chiffon pie and more.

Chef Fabio Ugoletti and his culinary team offer a gourmet Easter Brunch at mar'sel with breathtaking ocean views. The Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star and Wine Spectator Award of Excellence restaurant showcases chef-driven California cuisine with inventive twists, featuring locally sourced ingredients from Terranea's garden and the surrounding Palos Verdes Peninsula. Guests can enjoy their meal in the elegant dining room or on the scenic oceanfront terrace. The three-course menu begins with an amuse bouche of quail egg shakshuka followed by first-course options such as Smoked Salmon Carpaccio, Lobster Potage, Green and White Asparagus with Jamón Ibérico, Seared Ahi Tuna Caesar or Diver Scallop on avocado toast. Main courses include California Lamb Ragù with black truffle, Seafood Spaghetti, Wagyu Steak with hash browns, Cotoletta Bolognese or Seared Halibut with green hummus and spring peas. Desserts tempt with White Chocolate Mousse, Chocolate Dulcey Pot De Crème, Sfogliatelle with ricotta and coffee sauce, Hazelnut Macaron with calamansi curd or Biancomangiare with almond cinnamon pudding and cherry sorbet.

A Coastal Easter Feast: Brunch at catalina kitchen

With Pacific breezes and panoramic views of Catalina Island, catalina kitchen offers an inviting yet elevated setting for a bountiful Easter buffet feast. Guests can indulge in a lavish selection of sweet and savory favorites starting with Granola Bars, Acai Bowls, Smoked Salmon Mini Bagels and made-to-order omelets. Special Easter offerings include house-baked pastries like Hot Cross Buns and Easter Cookies, alongside fresh salads, Porcini Mushroom & Truffle Soup and a decadent Seafood Bar featuring oysters, tiger shrimp cocktail, king crab legs and lobster tails. Signature entrées range from Halibut Black Truffle Wellington and Roasted Salmon to Prime Rib, Marinated Tomahawks and Glazed Easter Ham from the carving station. The feast concludes with exquisite desserts by Executive Pastry Chef Pierino Jermonti, including Cucumber Panna Cotta with mint jelly, Coconut Cream Mini Cakes, Raspberry Cremeux and Mango Passion Fruit Coconut Roulade.

Easter Delights at sea beans, Nelson's, bashi and the Lobby Bar

At sea beans artisan café, located in the main lobby courtyard, a special Rosemary Spiced Lamb Sandwich on sourdough is available for $25. The café will also feature a pastel egg display; chocolate eggs and rabbits filled with candies; chocolate mousse parfait; pistachio, vanilla and passion fruit cupcakes; Easter sugar cookies; and cakesicles. Treats are available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and a Kids' Egg Hunt will take place from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with sweet prizes for winners. At Nelson's, nestled by outdoor fire pits with ocean views, guests will enjoy Slow-braised Short Rib with carrot mashed puree for $40, French 75 and Peeps Raspberry Bunny Tail cocktails and special desserts, all served from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. At bashi, Lobster Udon can be savored for $55, a Mandarin Mimosa cocktail sipped for $18 and Lychee Coconut Mousse Cake enjoyed for $15 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. For a cozy vibe, the Lobby Bar offers a Lamb Burger $30, seasonal cocktails and desserts like Lemon Blueberry Strawberry Parfait for $15 from 12 to 11 p.m. with live music from 7 to 11 p.m.
For the Kids: Easter Egg Hunts, The Easter Bunny, Egg Decorating & Egg Spoon Races

At the Meadows, Terranea welcomes young brunch guests to join in the fun at a Special Easter Egg Hunt. Start times vary between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It's complimentary for ballroom brunch guests, and everyone's favorite Easter Bunny will make an appearance! From 3 to 5 p.m. at Terranea's Kids Club, the younger set will enjoy egg-citing activities like Easter Egg Decorating and Egg Spoon Races at $90 per participant.
