RANCHO PALOS VERDES, Calif. - Oceanfront Terranea Resort announces a luxurious Mother's Day celebration, featuring breathtaking oceanfront views and exceptional dining experiences for the entire family. Mother's Day Brunch Buffet in the Palos Verdes Grand Ballroom

Terranea Resort invites guests to celebrate Mother's Day with an elegant oceanfront brunch buffet featuring a selection of gourmet dishes. The experience begins with a Market Fruit Display, Salad Bar and Composed Salads, including baby spinach with strawberries and feta, fennel salad with artichokes and heirloom tomato caprese. A variety of vegan and gluten-free pastries, croissants, bagels and muffins are also available. The Seafood Station offers jumbo shrimp, snow crab, oysters and scallop and octopus ceviche, alongside a Smoked Salmon & Bagel Bar and a Sushi Display. The Charcuterie & Cheese Table features Italian meats, California cheeses and artisanal breads. Breakfast selections include a made-to-order omelet station, sausage bar and house-made ricotta pancakes. The Asian Kitchen presents dumplings and vegetable egg rolls, while the Pasta & Risotto Station serves linguine with lemon cream sauce, wild mushroom ravioli and spring vegetable risotto. Main dishes include chicken piccata, pan-seared sea bass, vegan paella and seasonal vegetables, complemented by a Carving Station with slow-roasted prime rib and honey mustard-glazed ham. Desserts feature s'mores tartlets, rose panna cotta, berry tarragon lemon trifle and cherry mascarpone crepes jubilee.
Starts at $145 adults, $59 for kids (5 to 12), $15 for kids (3 to 4); ages 2 and under are complimentary; a 26% gratuity, taxes and a processing fee will be applied. Reservations available online.
mar'sel's Mother's Day Three-Course Brunch

Acclaimed Chef Fabio Ugoletti and his culinary team present an elegant three-course Mother's Day menu with breathtaking ocean views. To start, guests can choose from a selection of first-course dishes, including Smoked Salmon Caesar Salad with little gem lettuce, croutons and salmon roe; Pea Soup with green onion, mâche and crab; Asparagus Tips with poached egg, jamón, potato foam and balsamic glaze; Tuna Tartare with cucumber, avocado, tomato and wakame seaweed; or Green Hummus with seasonal crudités and fruit. For the second course, guests may select from Lobster Ravioli with saffron sauce and chervil; Sea Bream Acqua Pazza with mussels, clams, prawns, potato and zucchini; Wagyu Steak with hash browns and piperade; Chicken Cordon Bleu with sautéed potatoes and spinach; or Pappardelle with duck ragù, mushrooms and truffle. The third course features indulgent dessert selections, including Coconut Panna Cotta with fresh strawberries and mango sauce; Flourless Chocolate Cake with raspberry sauce, compote and sorbet; Plum Tarte with a shortcake shell, pastry cream and pistachio gelato; Peach Melba with syrup-poached peaches, vanilla gelato, chocolate sauce and almonds; or Croquembouche with rum chantilly, orange caramel and coffee sauce.

Guests can enjoy a relaxed oceanfront brunch at catalina kitchen, where families and friends can gather to celebrate the special women in their lives. The buffet begins with an assortment of breakfast favorites, including vegan and gluten-free pastries, muffins and croissants. Guests can enjoy a Cheese and Charcuterie selection, a Flatbread Station and a Fruit Station. The Raw Bar features shrimp cocktail, snow crab, fresh oysters, roasted striped bass, ahi poke and crab cake eggs benedict. Signature brunch offerings include made-to-order omelets and eggs, buttermilk pancakes, waffles and French toast, along with a selection of bacon, sausage, potatoes and lobster mac and cheese. To finish, guests can indulge in a seasonal dessert spread featuring Berry and Orange Bundt Cakes, Hummingbird Carrot Cake, Naked Chiffon Cake Parfait, Lime Pudding, Crème Caramel, Vegan Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake, Tea Cakes and more.

More Ways to Celebrate Mother's Day at Terranea Resort
Terranea Resort offers a variety of Mother's Day dining experiences across its restaurants. sea beans presents a Pancake & Waffle Station from 8 to 11 a.m. on May 10 and 11, featuring Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with blueberry compote. Special desserts include Baked Donuts, Hummingbird Carrot Cake, Berry Tarragon Lemon Trifle and Strawberry Kiwi Fruit Tart. On May 11 from 1 to 5 p.m., Sorbet Floats topped with rosé or sparkling wine will be available. bashi will offer a special holiday menu from noon to 9 p.m., while Nelson's will serve Mother's Day specials from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Lobby Bar, open from 9 a.m. to midnight, will feature Afternoon Tea-inspired cocktails, a spritz bar and a selection of small bites.
